A "Lounge" Ceremony?

Recently we worked on an event at the Valley-Ho in Scottsdale, and the client asked us to create a "Lounge Ceremony", for us that represented a great opportunity to showcase our furniture in a kind of unexpected way...We decided to use one of our newest items, the Lola Bench in white, as well as some Lounge Ottomans to create a "more design" look, the result, we believe, is visually astonishing, simply Chic and unique. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

PS. Thank you Sergio (Sergio Photographer) for the great pictures you took for us, your talent is greatly appreciated!

We Love Weddings!

When we first started our company, we were working almost exclusively with Corporate accounts, clean, functional, structured type of events. Many times, the colors for our accent pieces were (and still are) dictated by the color of the company's logo we are working for, and I believe that is great, but ask Paloma, our Designer, and she will tell you hands down she prefers Weddings! My question is: Why choosing the intense drama charged atmosphere first consultation, where the couple often is accompanied by the mother, the aunt, the friend and the neighbor? (of course I've been facetious, we've been so lucky since all of our wedding clients are more hip and independent and always know what they want!) over a simple e-mail message, e-mail proposal/layout, wait for an answer, then a check of a Corporate event? I know the answer: Weddings offer the Designer the capability to help to create unique and memorable events, and most of the times, challenges the talent of the Designer, which applies all his (in this case "her") experience in order to create a special event that has been envisioned by the couple (and whoever else they decide to invite to the table!).

Weddings offer the possibility to create unique environments with the usage of color, texture, lighting, fabrics, flowers, scents and every little detail to mesmerize the senses, and believe us when we say that our clients are not afraid of none of this!
We love when a couple approach us with their great ideas and the vision they have for their very special day, and we love to see their reaction the day of the event, when they see that we took everything they told us into consideration, and of course, we added more! We feel that we just did something transcendental, at least for the two of them and for all of their families and friends, that hopefully will remember their wedding day as a very unique and special one, that is simply the best feeling!
After all these things I've said, I guess you won't have a doubt in your mind:
WE LOVE WEDDINGS!

NOTE: Thank you to our friends of Pangburn Photography for the terrific pictures, you guys are great to work with!

The Colors of Spring...

Spring is here! Wherever you go you can see the dessert in bloom, vibrant yellows and purples cover the sideways... This is the perfect time to plan an outdoor event. You can start by creating a relaxing atmosphere with different groupings, we suggest you to go free style and use different pieces to create a more "design" and chic atmosphere. Whatever you do, make sure to use plenty of color: accent pillows, flowers, rugs, votive candles, flowers, special lighting, everything adds to the beautiful feeling of being part of the awakening of nature.

Feel free to call us to start planning your Spring event, and be surprised about all the new items we've got for the season!

Frostings at Sensational Settings!

What a great event Sensational settings turned out to be for us! Hundreds of people, everybody with an ear to what we had to say, as well as a great group of talented local designers, some of them with great ideas and points of views...

Our theme for this event was a "Safari Lounge" setting, we played with the idea of a young and successful couple (our client) who just came back from Africa, where they spent a season as volunteers to help preserve the Serengeti, the result: A sophisticated environment accentuated by a luscious Zebra area rug, a "Caoba" spiral vase crowned with Faisan and Wild Ostrich feathers, a jaguar throw and accent pillows with geometrical and animal print motifs...

For seating options, we used the newest addition to our inventory, the "Dali Sofa", one of the most comfortable pieces we have, with a very sophisticated look, as well as a "Chocolate Leather Bench" and a center table created with our "Acrylic Ghost" side tables. We were very pleased with the final look of our set up, and we wanted to share it with you!
